Twinkle Twinkle

“Twinkle Twinkle” is an interactive installation that lights up like a firefly when the audience get close to it. This work, which expresses the fairy tale world through light and color, brings the audience to childhood memories. This work was created for an inaugural exhibition at the Children's Museum of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, which runs from May 2021 to December 2022. 

(KOR) “트윙클 트윙클”은 반딧불이를 모티브로 한 작품으로, 어린 시절 동네 친구들과 함께한 즐거운 경험들을 떠올리며 동심의 세계를 연상하게 한다. 관람객이 작품에 가까이 다가가면 반딧불이처럼 불빛이 들어오는 인터랙티브 아트 설치작품이다. 이 작품에는 어린 시절의 순수한 순백성과 반딧불이의 동심이 융합되어 있다. 우리는 무미건조한 어른의 세계에서 동심의 세계를 동경하는지도 모른다. 빛과 색을 매개체로 동심의 세계를 표현한 이 작품은 관람객들을 어린 시절의 추억으로 데려가 동화 같은 세상을 떠올려 볼 수 있도록 한다.
